GYMNASTICS CLASSSES

At CGA, our preschool and recreational programs are dedicated to building strong athletes through faith, movement, and positive instruction. We provide a safe and encouraging environment where children can develop fundamental gymnastics skills, confidence, coordination, and discipline while learning the value of hard work, respect, and perseverance. Through progressive lesson plans and engaging classes, we strive to help every child grow physically, mentally, and spiritually while discovering a love for gymnastics.

Mommy & Me (1-2 Years Olds)

Our Mommy & Me class is a fun and interactive introduction to movement for toddlers ages 1–2 alongside a parent or guardian. This class focuses on developing early motor skills, balance, coordination, and body awareness through guided play on age-appropriate gymnastics equipment. With the support of their grown-up and our coach, little ones will explore climbing, rolling, swinging, and jumping in a safe and encouraging environment. Each class includes structured activities, music, and obstacle courses designed to build confidence while helping toddlers learn to move, explore, and interact with others.

Tumble Bears (3-4 Years Olds)

Our Tumble Bears class is designed to introduce young children to the fundamentals of gymnastics in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment. This class focuses on building balance, coordination, strength, and flexibility while fostering social skills and confidence. Through age-appropriate activities, obstacle courses, and games, children will explore basic tumbling, jumps, rolls, and beginner apparatus skills such as bars, beams, and mats. Every lesson is structured to promote focus, following directions, and teamwork, all while keeping movement exciting and playful.

Cheetah Cubs (5-6 Years Olds)

Our Cheetah Cubs class is designed for young athletes ready to take their skills to the next level. This class builds on basic tumbling, jumps, and rolls while introducing more structured gymnastics techniques on bars, beams, and floor. Students focus on developing strength, flexibility, coordination, and body awareness through progressive skill-building exercises. Classes also encourage focus, discipline, and confidence, all in a fun and supportive environment.

Leaping Leopards (6+ Years Olds)

Our Leaping Leopards class is designed for athletes who want to learn and improve their gymnastics skills in a fun, structured environment. This class focuses on developing strength, flexibility, coordination, and proper technique while building confidence and discipline. Athletes will work on progressive skills across all gymnastics events, including floor, bars, beam, and vault. Classes are structured with skill stations, drills, and conditioning that help each gymnast safely advance at their own pace while continuing to challenge themselves.

GymCats (PreTeam)

Our GymCats class is designed for athletes who show strong potential and dedication in gymnastics and are ready for more advanced training. This invitation or evaluation-based class focuses on refining fundamental skills while introducing more challenging techniques on vault, bars, beam, and floor. Gymnasts in Pre-Team will work on strength, flexibility, conditioning, and proper skill progressions needed for higher-level gymnastics. Practices are more structured and goal-oriented, helping athletes develop focus, discipline, and confidence while continuing to build strong fundamentals.
