CHEERLEADING CLASSES

Our Cheerleading Classes at CGA are designed to help athletes build the skills needed for cheer while developing strength, confidence, and teamwork. Athletes will learn the fundamentals of cheer including motions, jumps, sign technique, voice control, and performance technique. Classes focus on proper form, flexibility, and conditioning while teaching athletes how to safely execute cheer skills. Through structured drills and progressions, students improve coordination, timing, and overall athletic ability in a fun and energetic environment. Whether athletes are preparing for school cheer, competitive cheer, or simply want to build new skills, our cheer classes help them grow stronger, more confident, and ready to perform.

Jumps:

Our Jumps Class is designed to help athletes improve the power, height, and technique of their cheerleading jumps. This class focuses on proper body positioning, arm motions, flexibility, and explosive strength needed to perform jumps correctly and safely. Athletes will work on drills and conditioning specifically designed to improve jumps such as toe touches, hurdler jumps, pikes, and jump combinations. Emphasis is placed on timing, sharp motions, pointed toes, and strong landings to help athletes perform with confidence and precision. This class is perfect for cheerleaders looking to clean up their technique, increase jump height, and stand out during tryouts, performances, or competitions.

Stunts:

Our Stunts Class focuses on teaching athletes the fundamentals of safe and effective cheerleading stunting. Athletes will learn proper techniques for bases, flyers, and spotters while building the strength, balance, and teamwork required for successful stunts. This class covers basic stunt positions, body control, timing, and communication between teammates. Through drills, progressions, and conditioning, athletes will develop the skills needed for lifts, preps, extensions, and beginner stunt sequences in a safe and structured environment. Perfect for athletes preparing for school or competitive cheer, this class helps build confidence, trust, and strong stunt technique while emphasizing safety and teamwork.
